I use repurposed materials already on-site whenever possible to construct pathways, rockeries, raised beds, and other outdoor "infrastructure" so you can comfortably navigate and enjoy your little slice of paradise.

I work with clients to incorporate and care for site-appropriate plants in new and existing garden areas, focusing on native species to contribute to the food web and provide habitat. No project is too small--even the tiniest garden bed has a part to play in restoring biodiversity and resiliency to our urban ecosystem.

I adhere to ANSI A-300 Tree Care Standards and Plant Amnesty's code of ethics. This means I prune with a focus on tree health--no hack jobs--and do not perform tree-topping except in extremely limited, justifiable circumstances.

Rain gardens, drip irrigation, cisterns, rain barrels... design and installation of one or more of these systems could reduce your water bill, and you might be eligible for a full or partial reimbursement. All the while, you'll conserve rainwater, divert it from our overladen sewer system, and protect salmon, orcas and other marine life.
